Intelligence-led threat assessments
when judgement carries risk.
When risk is building, information is incomplete, and the cost of misjudgement is significant, GuardianWave provides threat assessments so clients can make informed decisions.
The risk isn't what happened.
It's what could happen.
Most threats do not arrive as single events. They form through pressure, blind spots, delayed acknowledgement, and misinterpretation.
If you or your business are experiencing any of the following, then GuardianWave can support you:
- Threats to people
- Reputational and public pressure risk
- Association and proximity risk
- Escalation and conflict risk
- Decision-forcing risk

- How consequence would realistically unfold.
Judgement and recommendation
- A clear view on what the situation is becoming.
- What response reduces exposure.
- What response would increase it.
How an assessment unfolds in practice
Context
A staff member receives a direct threat following enforcement action against a customer.
Assessment
Comparable incidents show risk increases when threats follow perceived loss or humiliation. Most cases do not progress unless reinforced through response, access, or continued contact.
Judgement
Overreaction may amplify fixation. Inaction risks normalising the behaviour. Exposure centres on proximity, access, and emotional volatility rather than stated intent.
Recommendation
Reduce staff exposure and formalise boundaries. Escalation is warranted only if contact persists or behaviour changes.
The assessment clarifies when protective steps are sufficient and when escalation becomes necessary.
